Can a student outside Bihar opt for BCECE?

Yes, why not! All the student from any part of the country appears in the exam if the student wishes and fulfill the eligibility condition of the exam. Eligibility condition for appearing in the exam: Domicile 1.Candidates should be an Indian National to get admission through BCECE. They should also fulfill one of the following domicile criteria. 1.1 Parents of Candidate are the permanent resident of Bihar. 1.2 Parents of Candidate are registered Refugees in Bihar. 1.3 Parents of Candidate are the resident of other state but are employees of Govt. Of Bihar. 1.4 Parents of Candidate were employees of Govt. of Bihar before reorganization and their employee cadre is yet transferable between Bihar and Jharkhand. 1.5 Parents of Candidate are holding posts in Govt. of India and are posted in Bihar or employee of central organization operated by Public sector Undertaking of Govt. Of India. 1.6. Parents of candidate are the employee of national union and are currently posted in Bihar. Education Qualification Secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying exam having physics and maths as a subject. Age Limit There is no minimum age limit required for engineering & pharmacy courses. Reservation Policy Only the student of Bihar can clam for reservation and this thing is practices in all state. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for BCECE candidate should be class 12th pass with 45% marks in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology). As BCECE is a state level exam therefore only Bihar state candidates can apply for the exam.

Bihar combined entrance competitive examination (BCECE) is a state level examination conducted by government of Bihar to admit its students in various government and private engineering colleges. All the seats are reserved for the home state students but in certain cases outsiders can also appear in the examination. Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) is the best government engineering college of Bihar which accepts BCECE rank. Eligibility criteria for outside students are: 1) Parents of the other students should be employee of the government of Bihar. 2) Parents of student should be registered refugee of Bihar. 3) Parents of the students are centrally employed and currently posted in Bihar. Hi, Here is the eligibility criteria of BCECE if you find yourself in any one the category then you are eligible to take BCECE. Educational qualification: Engineering / Technology (Four Years Program: Candidates should have completed their Higher Secondary or equivalent education with a minimum of 45% or above (40 % for SC / ST/OBC). He / she should have studied Mathematics and physics as mandatory subject and chemistry / biotechnology / biology / technical vocational subject as one of the optional subjects. Domicile: The candidate should be an Indian national to get admission through BCECE. They should also fulfill one of the following domicile criteria: 1) Parents of Candidate are permanent resident of Bihar. 2) Parents of Candidate are registered Refugees in Bihar. 3) Parents of Candidate are resident of other state, but are employees of Govt. of Bihar. 4) Parents of Candidate were employees of Govt. of Bihar before reorganization and their employee cadre is yet transferable between Bihar and Jharkhand. 5) Parents of Candidate are holding posts in Govt. of India and are posted in Bihar or employee of central organization operated by Public sector Undertaking of Govt. of India. 6) Parents of Candidate are the employee of national union and are currently posted in Bihar. 7) Seats nominated by Govt. of Bihar for candidates from Abroad/Indian states and Union territories where the facility of pursuing technical education is not available. Registration of candidates as per the norms and regulations of Central Govt. is applicable to institutions located in Bihar. The candidates will be nominated by the government of respective states. These candidates are not required to appear for BCECE.
