Can a student outside Telangana opt for TS EAMCET ?

Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) is a state level entrance examination for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad conducted the TS EAMCET 2017 exam on the month of May. Eligibility criteria is specified by JNTUH regarding age, education, marks obtained in qualifying examination, etc for candidates to appear for the EAMCET exam. Aspirants, who meet the eligibility requirement will be able to give entrance test for admissions to UG course offered by the participating college of TS EAMCET. Yes, a student who is Indian Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holder student can appear in the exam having 16 year above at the time of form filling. Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) but there is no category for other state students. So for all the students of other states, they need to score more than 45% in their qualifying exam. Again here also reservation makes competition really tough.
