    Yes, candidates can wait and target the next cutoff for better opportunities at IIIT Allahabad through GATE. Candidates who aim for the next cutoff round may have to face the possibility of losing their allotted seat in the current cutoff round because the remaining candidates eventually fill the open seats if anyone releases the allotted seat.
