Can a student who doesn't belong to Telangana state get admission at JNTUH for M.Tech in CSE without qualifying GATE?

Admission to the PGP(M.Tech) at JNTUH shall be made either on the basis of - the Rank/ Percentile earned by the student in the relevant qualifying GATE Examination / the Merit Rank obtained by the qualifying student at an Entrance Test conducted by the Telangana State Government (PGECET)/ An Entrance Test conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad / on the basis of any other order of merit approved by the University, subject to reservations as prescribed by the Government from time to time. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates for admission to various PG professional programmes in the Institutions/Colleges of the State of Telangana. After exhausting GATE qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled with those candidates who have secured ranks in the TS PGECET-2019 as per the Merit Order. Therefore, from above CS- GATE score is must at JNTUH for M.Tech admission.
