Can a student who has done a Diploma in aeronautical engg. (belong to another state) take admission in this univ. in the 2nd-year (lateral)?

Yes,
You are eligible for lateral admission, if you have minimum 50% aggregate for Open Category and 45% for Reserved Categories in Diploma Engineering. Admission will be done as per ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) procedure. -
