Can a student who has failed a subject in an IPE exam of 1st year pursue PGDM at Parul University?

My cousin got decent marks in all the subjects but failed to pass an IPE of 1st year. He passed every subject in the second year. His father wants him to take PGDM course through management quota at Parul University.

Parul University, like many institutions, generally requires students to have completed their undergraduate degree without any backlogs or failures to be eligible for a PGDM program. Since your cousin failed a subject in the first year of his undergraduate studies but managed to pass all subjects in the second year, his overall academic record might be a concern during the admission process.

However, applying through the management quota can sometimes offer more flexibility. It’s possible that the university may consider his application favorably, especially if he has shown improvement and has a strong overall profile.
