Qualification required to join India Navy as a pilot is BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physics & Maths in 12th standard. A candidate holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India)(optional).
They also have a lateral entry like Air Force does for CPL Entrants.
SSB is an integral part of the selection procedure which will be conducted after you get through the written exam.
Indian Coast Guard is another wing of defence and also operates on similar lines of India Navy.
They also have CPL entry and allow candidates to be inducted on Dornier, Chetak, etc., aircraft.
