    Yes, Candidates can and infact should apply for the IELTS examination. It is advised that candidates should give this examination after the age of 16 years. 

    IELTS is an examination to test the proficiency of students who are non native English speakers .

    The result of this examination is valid till 2 to 3 years ,3 years for skill based migrants. 

    The examination paper is divided into four sections - listening speaking writing and reading. 

    The examination prepares you for all the vocabulary and language understanding for your under graduation and post graduation studies in English speaking regions.
