Can a student who is scared of physics but interested in mathematics go for civil engineering in NIT, Trichy?

    In civil engineering, there are few subjects which are based on the mechanics which you might have studied in physics. If you are not good at mechanics in physics and not interested to do those things then it is better to avoid civil engineering.

    Yes, you can go for civil engineering. You will find more physics in mechanical branch whereas in civil there is more of calculation and few subjects of mechanical engineering as well. But if you are good in mathematics then you can do any engineering.
