Can an AMIE holder still appear for civil service exam in (2021-22) to join in 2018 even after MHRD and ACITE withdrawn their recognition?

As recognition issued from MHRD and ACITE and not from other bodies that recognised AMIE. Can we still appear for government jobs?

Yes, you can still appear for civil services exams. AMIE is still recognised by MHRD as per the records on https://www.ieindia.org. There were talks of transferring the IEI from MHRD to AICTE but it didn't happen as far as I know.

This is one of the approved platforms for civil services, those who have not been completed their graduation regular. It's quite difficult for working candidates to manage both things apparently.

If MHRD withdraws recognisation and AICTE does not equate AMIE with B.Tech then you will not be eligible for any Government job where eligibilty criteria is a graduation degree.
