    Psychology is the study of mind, thought pattern and behaviour of human being. ART student can become psychologist but not psychiatrist. For becoming psychiatrist student need to be MBBS but for becoming psychologist students can take any stream. The Basic difference between psychologist and psychiatrist is that, the psychiatrist has the authority to treat the patient of depression
    through the counselling, psychotherapies and medication but the psychologist can treat his/her patients through the counselling
