Can an arts student do civil engineering after 12th?

No after passing 12th from arts you can not get admission to civil engineering even not in any engineering.Because engineering is only for students who are from Science background. -
To pursue engineering after 12th you need to have physics, chemistry and maths as compulsory subjects in class 12th
