Yes, an average Indian student from tier 2/tier 3 cities can join Western Illinois University if they meet the admission requirements. Indian applicants must have a minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and they also must submit satisfactory English proficiency scores on one of the following exams: TOEFL, IELTS, ITEP, or PTE Academic. The tuition fees for international undergraduate students at WIU is INR 10.7 L and for international graduate students, it is INR 13.2 L.
