A typical Indian student can apply to Sterling College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Navi Mumbai, as long as they are eligible. For undergraduate programs such as B.Com or BMS, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. English proficiency and a background in the related subjects (for example, commerce for B.Com) are needed. Admissions are controlled by the University of Mumbai centrally on merit. The college has reasonable fees, e.g. INR 38,340 for B.Com, thus being affordable to a large number of students.

Sterling College does not charge any application fees to the applicants. Students can apply via Common App. The college is also test-optional so students are not bound to submit standardized test scores.
