2012-05-16 12:45:21It is a matter of sheer hard work.You can not prescribe the number of hours.It is a matter of completing the work for the day and then sleeping.Good reading is compulsory, followed by good note taking. -

Yes an average student can crack I.A.S exams successfully if work with the right aptitude.
Preparing for IAS requires combination of smartness and hard work. One without the other is incomplete and inadequate. If you want to prepare for IAS you need to devote at least one year minimum to studying for the IAS full time. If you are working then at least two years are needed to prepare for the IAS.

*Start preparing at least 10 months before the Prelims (7-8 hours a day)
