Can an average student get admission into Jadavpur University, Kolkata?

<p>The answer to this question depends on the course opted by the candidate. However, average is not criteria and any aspirant who meets the eligibility requirement and selection criteria can get admission in the university. Jadavpur University admission are both merit and entrance-based. A students requires to complete their Class 12 for UG courses whereas, graduation is required for PG programmes.&nbsp;</p><p>The minimum aggregate ranges between 40% and 60%. The entrance exam accepted by the university are WBJEE, CAT, MAT, WB JECA, GATE, etc. for specific courses. BE is one of the popular course offered by Jadavpur University. Looking at the closing rank of WBJEE for BE, the admission is competitive. The closing rank for WBJEE Round 2 was 57 for CSE which was also the highest rank.&nbsp;</p><p>Hence, students who prepares well and meet all the requirements can get shortlisted for the selected course.&nbsp;</p>
