Electrical & Electronics Engineering has the following specialisations:
Software
Electronics
Signal Processing
Computer Engineering
Power Electronics
Communications
Nanotechnology
Embedded Systems
Biomedical Imaging
Hardware
Power Systems engineering (including renewable energy)
Control
So, you have to study only these ones. -
In EEE, you do have a couple of subjects that CSE students study. And, most of the companies allow EEE students to compete with CSE and IT students for software jobs. Hence, it'll work to your advantage to learn both, core and coding.
