Yes, if you have scored 70 - 80% or above in English in CBSE/CISCE 12th board exams, for undergraduate courses, and for postgraduate courses a CBSE/CISCE English score of 80% or above with an MOI letter confirming that English is the teaching language of your college/institution/university. The IELTS exam is used to check one's English language skills to write, read, speak & Listen. The majority of the universities in English Speaking countries like the USA, Australia, Canada & New Zealand ask for the IELTS score for admission.
