    Yes, you can get a seat in Diploma through lateral entry scheme. As you have said that you have done electrician trade so you can get a Diploma in electrical, ENTC, mechanical, CSE and IT. You have to appear for the lateral entry test conducted by various colleges for the admission. According to the merit, you will get the admission.
