The IIT (Indian Institutes of Technology) do not offer admission to B.Tech/B.E. Courses through lateral entry. There is no provision for admission to ITI/Diploma holders in IITs wherein they could be able to get direct entry into the second year of the 4 year degree programme. No, you cannot get directly admission in IITs after ITI. After the ITI course, you have to go to pursue a Diploma course through lateral entry, which will take three years to complete. The second step is to sit for JEE Advanced after completing the Diploma course, after that you are eligible to get admission in the IITs. Thanks.
