As you have completed your Master’s degree in Biotechnology, which is a Science stream, then it will be beneficial for you to appear in CSIR NET Exam in Life Science subject. CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) is conducted by CSIR for selecting the candidates for JRF and for Lectureship. Know more about CSIR NET Exam from here https://www.eduncle.com/csir-net-exam
The registration process for CSIR NET 2018 has been closed. The exam will be held on 17th June 2018. You will have to wait till the next examinations of CSIR NET. Till then keep practicing for the exam.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for CSIR NET on the basis of your Master's degree subject. As your subject is biotechnology, you can apply for CSIR NET Life Sciences.
