Yes, you can apply for the NET Exam under CSIR NET. CSIR NET is conducted only for the Science stream students which is conducted only in 5 subjects which are: Mathematical Science Life Science Chemical Science Physical Science Earth Science

Yes, you can apply for CSIR NET Exam in mathematical Science. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research conducts the CSIR NET for Mathematical Sciences exam.
