Your selection as Assistant does not affect for appearing in Grade B exam. Assistants who have joined or joining RBI are eligible to appear in Grade B DR (Direct Recruit) Officers Exam as they were before the joining. After working as an RBI Assistant for 3 to 5 years, he/she can be promoted to an RBI Grade A Officer at first. Then after working as an RBI Grade A Officer for 5 to 7 years finally promoted to RBI Grade B officer. An RBI assistant can become an RBI Grade B Officer in 10 years.Yes. An assistant who is already working in RBI can appear for Grade B exam
