Annamalai University is recognised by the University Grants Commission. Therefore, the various programmes that include degrees and diplomas are recognised by the Government and Annamalai University is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Distance education through Annamalai is not approved by DEB. Hence is not advisable.

I talked to university office. They said, university lodged a case against UGC and until the court's decision comes, they can take admission. If decision comes against university, they will not take admission. But, before the decision all admissions will be valid and will be given degree.
