Can anyone get into ISRO after cracking GATE exam?

GATE is not an essential qualification for ISRO recruitment, but a good GATE score will boost your confidence, and the strategy of your GATE preparation will help you to crack the ISRO written exam and interview. The following options are open for young aspirants to become scientists or engineers at ISRO: If you get into the old IITs (through a good GATE score), ISRO conducts a direct placement interview. If your rank is low, you can be admitted to IIST (for B.Tech candidates only, through JEE marks). This institute is meant to create active minds in the field of aerospace or avionics. You will be assigned ISRO (CGPA is the criterion). If you are not on the above-mentioned lists, then you have to reappear in one more competitive exam after your graduation, I. e. , the ICRB (ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board). The simple answer is no, ISRO has it's own recruitment facilities, opportunities and examination which is available throughout the year and you can check ISRO's official career site for eligibility criteria, new openings, exam dates and many other opportunities at ISRO.
