Hi there, Being an alumni as well as an existing research scholar at LPU I would like to answer your query. Lovely Professional University has successfully attained many accreditation and approvals down the lane. It is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) a statutory body of the Government of India. It is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the national level body of universities in the country. [1] B.Arch and M.Arch (Executive) programmes are approved by Council of Architecture (COA), a statutory body of the Government of India for the regulation of the architectural education and practice of profession and for maintaining the register of architects. [2] B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy programmes are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), a statutory body of the Government of India for the regulation of the Pharmacy Education for the purpose of registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act and for regulation of Profession and Practice of Pharmacy. [3] B.Sc. (Hons. ) Agriculture, M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture. [4] 3 years LL.B programme and 5 years integrated B.A. LL.B (Hons. ), B.Com. LL.B (Hons. ), BBA LL.B (Hons. ) programmes are recognised by Bar Council of India (BCI), a statutory body of the Government of India to regulate and represent the Indian Bar. [5] Lovely Professional University is recognised by the University Grants Commission - Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), entrusted with the regulatory work of open and distance learning mode of education in the higher education system. [6] Diploma in Engineering programme in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering are recognised by The Institution of Engineers (India), Established 1920, Incorporated by Royal Charter 1935. Let me just start with the recent achievement of LPU in terms of Global Rankings & accreditation. Lovely Professional University has brought honors to India as it was ranked among the Top 200 universities in the World in The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. Its for the first time Lovely Professional University was participated in this global rankings based on overall performance in sustainable development goal (SDG) parameters and was ranked second-the highest among Indian varsities.
