Dear Rijun, Being alumni of LPU, I suggest LPU for an M.Tech in ECE. LPU is the best private university among all others. My friend did M.Tech in ECE at LPU itself. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Hands-on Practical: Students who study ECE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bos

LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance for the students to attend guest lectures or workshops so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead of any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure, and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also meeting the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a

BITS is better than all other in private colleges because Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is one of the best private technological university in India. BITS, Pilani mostly focuses on education in engineering, science and management. BITS is also one of the few universities in India that follows no reservation policy for admission. Ex-Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan, Hotmail-Founder Sabeer Bhatia and Amkette Founder Rajiv Bapna are some of the products of the university.
BITS has three other campuses in addition to the Pilani campus:

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
