Yes, I checked the NIRF 2021 rankings. Chandigarh University was ranked a bit higher than LPU in the overall category. But LPU also got a good position and was ranked in the top 100 universities in India. The best thing is that LPU was ranked in top 25 in some specific fields like Architecture, Pharmacy, and Law. That shows LPU is really good in these areas. Also, LPU has a very big campus, amazing infrastructure, and top-level faculty. The placement record is also very strong with many big companies visiting every year. LPU students get chances for international exposure too. So even if the overall rank is a little different, LPU

Chandigarh University was ranked #20 overall in NIRF 2024, which is a major achievement in such a short time since it was established in 2012. Within a decade, CU has built a strong academic system that focuses on quality education, hands-on practicals, industry exposure, and student comfort. The campus is huge, well-connected, and close to IT hubs, which helps in internships and placements. CU offers a wide range of specializations, updated curriculum, workshops, international tie-ups, and even courses designed in collaboration with Harvard modules. From engineering to management, every department focuses on live learning, skill-build

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.
