    Yes, Class 12th CBSE failed students can leave school and repeat 12th as private candidates. As per the CBSE rules, a student can appear for the 12th board exams as a private candidate if they fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the board. To be eligible to appear as a private candidate in the CBSE 12th board exams, a student must have:
