    Clinical psychologists in India do not have the privilege to prescribe medication. Their focus is on psychotherapy, behavioural interventions, and psychological assessments for mental health diagnosis and treatment. Only psychiatrists have medical qualifications to prescribe medication. Clinical psychologists often collaborate with psychiatrists to provide comprehensive mental health care.
