can diploma after 12th science be considered as graduation equivlent ? can i apply for gujarat state govt exam like dyso?

i have done diploma in mechanical engineering after 12th science.can it be considered as graduation equivalent? i want to apply for dyso exam in gujarat state goernment. please sir reply me.

Hi, 1. No, Diploma after class XII, does not stands equivalent to graduation. You need to pick B.E or B.TECH Mechanical 2nd year through lateral entry. 2. To appear for G.P.S.C, you need to hold a graduation degree in a relevant discipline. Your Diploma certificate does not make you eligible. 3.
