Why do you want to study EC and then do CS job? Why not study CS and then do CS job?

No, both ECE and CSE are entirely different except for the microprocessor and microcontroller programming. Getting into google with ECE branch is very difficult as they prefer only people having sound software knowledge and hands-on.
