According to AICTE (Ministry of HRD), PGDM B-schools have option to accept any of the 6 national tests: CAT XAT CMAT MAT ATMA or GMAT. Many colleges that are not within Top 100 B-schools offer direct MBA Admission without entrance exam to complete their seats quota. -
Hi, In India more than 300 plus management institutes accepted other Management Exam like MAT CMAT NMAT and many more, but there are few school are good that have very good placements. Top B-Schools accept other entrance exam score as well:

3-Amity University

All the management colleges and universities required candidate's to have appeared for CAT exam. CAT is definitely a difficult exam and also very competitive one. It is not possibly every ones Cup of tea to appear for this tedious exam. The kind of college that you get depends a lot on good CAT percentile.
