Can I admission in LPU? I have not cleared LPU NEST exam for B.Sc. Agriculture.

B.Sc. Agriculture. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)

4 years agoHi Narain, Sorry to break this out but LPU do not offer any management, NRI or paid Quota. Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption. Agricultural graduates have wide scope of career in public sector and private sector. In fact entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in agricultural field. As per my knowledge, I would say If you are looking for admission in LPU for B.Sc Agriculture, then you will be glad to know that LPU has relaxed it's eligibility criteria, due to COVID-19, which states Eligibility of B.Sc (Hons. ) Agriculture is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Yes you can take admission in B.Sc(Hons)Agriculture without appearing in LPUNEST. Due to this Covid-19,University exempted LPUNEST from eligibility.

Hi, Agriculture course of LPU is in high demand. So, In order to get admission you need to meet the eligibility criteria. I am sorry to say that there is no quota or donation accepted at LPU. If I talk about the eligibility of B.Sc (Hons. ) Agriculture, LPUNEST is mandatory. So, if you want to take admission, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria and I would suggest you to prepare well for the same. Thanks
