Can I appear for an improvement exam next year if I am dissatisfied with my marks in improvement exam this year?

I gave my CBSE Class 12th board exams in 2024 in five subjects but was unhappy with my marks in one subject. I applied for an improvement exam in that subject which was conducted in July.
