Can I appear for CSIR NET exam?
I have done M.Sc in clinical microbiology through distance from PTU.

Hello Deepika,
To apply for CSIR NET exam, you should have a minimum of 55% aggregate in Masters if you are from general/OBC category or if you belong to SC/ST/PwD categories then you should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate. To apply for the CSIR NET exam your maximum age should be 28 years. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/female applicants have up to 5 years relaxation in age criteria. -
Below mentioned is the eligibility criteria for CSIR-JRF (NET):
1. Educational qualification:
4 years program BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ Integrated BS - MS/ M.Sc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ ST candidates, physically and visually handicapped candidates). Candidate enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship...more
