Can I appear for NDA and join merchant navy at the same time?

I have completed class 12th with PCMB and want to join the merchant navy after becoming a lieutenant in the Indian army.

    Hello Premnath,
    If you are working in Indian Army then you can't appear for NDA exam for another job in Indian Army so if you are working right now in Indian Army as in merchant navy then work well
