No, you can't appear for NEET 2018, if you are born in 2001.

If you are 17 years of age at the time of admission, surely you can apply. -
To take admission in MBBS:
- You need to pass 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 60% .
- You should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
- You need to appear in entrance exam such as AIIMS Entrance Exam, NEET, etc.
