Can I appear for NET exam after doing graduation and post graduation in English (Hons)?

    My dear candidate, I'm glad to have you. Candidates must have a master's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55% in order to be eligible to apply for the UGC NET however, there is a 5% relaxation for reserved categories. You may also participate in your final post-graduation year. The eligibility requirements for assistant professorships and JRFs under UGC NET 2022 differ. The applicant must be in possession of a Masters degree in the pertinent field from an accredited university. The maximum age for JRF has been raised from 30 to 31 years old.     Yes but you have 55% of marks in your post graduation from a recognised university and there is 5% relaxation for reserved candidate.

    Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. In order to appear for UGC NET candidates need to have passed Masters Degree with 55% aggregate, in case of reserved categories there is relaxation of 5%. You can also appear in the final year of post-graduation. UGC NET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Assistant Professorship are different. It is mandatory for the applicant to have a Masters degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university. The upper age limit for JRF has been increased from 30 years to 31 years. The applicant must have at least 55% marks in their Masters Degree. Hope it helps.

    YES. One just need 55% or 50 % to be eligible for NET. There is huge scope in NET/ JRF for English . Also you can explore the option of B.Ed. Best wishes.
