Can i appear for UPSC Exam now as i am 30 yrs old now? I have checked that the dates for application is in March.

Hi Vaishali, As your DOB is 18/02/1981, it seems difficult to be eligible for filing for UPSC as the criteria states that a candidate should not attain 30 years of age on 1st August 2011. The Candidate must be born between 2nd august 1981 to 1 August 1990 so to be eligible for writing UPSC. Kindly

According to eligibility conditions of UPSC candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August 2011 Candidate must be born between 2nd august 1981 to 1 August 1990

for the general candidates 30 is the upper age limit.

Hi Vashali , The eligibility depends in which catogary you fall in . I guess for OPEN its 30 Yrs and for SC/ NT its arround 35. Regards Amit
