Can I appear in CAT exam before the completion of my graduation, just for practice purpose?

Hi, You can appear in CAT 2016. I would suggest you to take CAT 2016 this year. Any graduate candidates with a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for common admission test.

Yes, you will get an idea oof the actual exam. You can also buy the mock test papers of CAT of IMS or TIME. These are called SIMCATS or AIMCATS. All the best.

Yes, anyone who has either completed his/her graduation or is in the final year of graduation can appear for CAT.

No, candidates cannot get admission to a full-time MBA programme at a Tier 1 B-School with only the CAT score. They need to appear for and clear the WAT-PI round for admission too.

The minimum academic score required for IIM admission through CAT is 50 percent in Graduation. For SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum score requirement in 45 percent.
