Can I appear in UGC Net exam as I don't have master's degree?
I have done B.Tech (4 years) and PhD (4 years) afterwards.

You can . but just for the sake of caution do call up the helpline and confirm it with an expert.

Yes you can appear in the NET exam if you have enrolled in a masters course.and the certificate of NET will be valid for about 2 years before that your post graduation would be completed!

As far as my knowledge you cannot do your Phd without a masters degree and a masters degree is needed for UGCNET exam. Best for you would be to do your MTech from a reputed college giving you the best research facility and a good platform n exposure . Log in for details to RV, LPU, RAI etc
