  • There is no restriction on number of attempts for NExT Step 1 provided candidates have passed both NExT Step 1 and NexT Step 2 examinations within 10 years of joining MBBS course. Candidates have to qualify NExT Step 2 to reappear in NExT Step I for improvement of score. NexT Step 1 score will be valid for five years. AIIMS will release an information brochure, providing more clarity regarding number of attempts and other aspects related to NExT exam. 2019 MBBS students will be the first batch which will be appearing for NExT exam to be held most likely in 2024.
