    Yes, The university take admission on the basis of merit rankings in various exams like XAT, CAT, MAT, NMAT and CMAT. So it is not mandatary to appear for CAT exam if you want to take admission in chitkara university. And university also accepts merit of undergraduation courses for your admission in MBA you have to scored 45 %+in your graduation.

    Yes, the answer is yes! There are a few notable B-schools that also provide Direct MBA admissions without the CAT. Many private institutes also offer direct admission to MBA programs based on their various university entrance examinations and Personal Interviews, or on the candidate's previous qualifying exam score.

So it is not mandatary to appear for CAT exam if you want to take admission in chitkara university. And also if you haven't appear for the above mentions exams then also you can take admission un the universitu by appearing in the university entrance test exam i.e, Chitkara University Test.
