Can I apply for B.Tech in computer science? I cleared 12th with 60% and got 49% in PCM.

    You fulfill the minimum percentage criteria, so you are eligible.
    You can take admission in two ways:
    1. Free seat i.e. you have to clear engineering entrance exam and then counseling and then you may allotted the seat.
    2. Paid seatiI.e. you can get admission on management quota seat.

    Hi,
    Eligibility criteria of GLA :
    1. For B.Tech -students should qualify +2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (for OBC) and 45% (for SC/ST).
    2. You need to qualify the entrance exam conducted by GLA i.e. GLAET.
    Exam is conducted online in 60 centers over India.

    Yes of course, as along you do not have backlogs or pending exams, you can apply for Computer Science. From what I believe all you need is a PCM in the 12th grade. Just check with the colleges before what is their criteria, most colleges will consider Management Quota if not on Merit.

    Hi Dilip, for applying to any B.Tech program you need to clear class 12th exam. As you have passed in every subjects therefore you are eligible to apply for the same.
