Can I apply for BCA? What is the last date for BCA course?

LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. Hello! You can apply for BCA if you fulfill the following eligibility criteria. Eligibility is 50% in Class 12th, with English. Admissions for 2020 batch is already going on through online mode. BCA Course at LPU is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource optimized software/website/cloud/mobile applications. In simple terms, BCA Programme at Lovely Professional University has lots to do with Computer Science and programming. Students are given knowledge on topics like Programming languages, hardware and software, computer networks, World Wide Web, Database Management, Logic, Multimedia etc. CA graduates have good scope in jobs as a Web Developer, Software Tester, etc. Depending on the skills you acquire during your BCA. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is : Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Few relaxations: (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Since the heavy scholarships are likely to be reduced after 15th july, you must finish up with your online admission process before that. So, it appears that with 55% you are eligible for the program. With program outcomes like following and great placements upto 7.5 LPA ! Yes you can take admission in BCA in LPU but for that you need to meet the eligibility which is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent . I also came to know from the counsellor of LPU that LPU promotes following scholarship: 1.On the basis of marks in previous class 2.LPUNEST 3. Defence/Co-Curricular/Sports 4. COVID-19 5. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or in case marks scored in 10+2 are 80% or above, then LPUNEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Last date is May 31, 2018.

Yes, you can apply for BCA. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships. Yes, BCA is good career option if you like the programming, databases, Networking etc. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.
