Yes, the branch can be changed at the end of the second semester. However, the student must meet the required criteria, i.e. a CGPA greater than or equal to 8.0 and 7.0 for SC/ST and PD applicants. Additionally, must have completed all prescribed course credits for the first two semesters (including the non-graded courses). Students must also have no backlog at the end of the second semester.
