Can I apply for Canada or any other Country with 3 years gap?
I have passed my 12th from NIOS board in 2013. I could not continue my studies due to some personal issues. Now, I am planning for Canada as my brother lives there.

Gap period is acceptable and yes you can study. You must meet necessary admission requirements of the colleges. Also start preparing a supporting statement or statement of activity for the gap period. The universities would like to know how well you spent the gap period. A statement of purpose would also be required stating your reasons and motivation to study in Canada or any other country.
NIOS degrees are accepted but I will suggest you to contact the university first as requirements vary. As an international student, you must also take IELTS or TOEFL. Keep checking university websites, communicate with them for admissio...more -
Hi Gurleen,
You can apply for Canadian colleges and universities. But make sure you do not apply for SPP colleges. There is a high risk of visa rejection under SPP category if you have gap of more than 2 years after 12th standard.
