    Hello Vaibhav,
Yes, absolutely. The eligibility criteria for GATE is as follows:
Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
    Good luck.
    Thank you.

Clear GATE, state or institute level equivalent with a good score and you will become eligible for an M.Tech programme. Some companies accept GATE scores for their recruitment process.

Well, the "GATE" Exam is an entrance for two things:
    1. placement in the PSU sectors
    2. Admission to the M.Tech courses at IITs,NITs,etc
So very clearly, one can only sit for the GATE Exam after B.Tech as it is the entrance for the corresponding master course, I.e M.Tech. Infact going for GATE after B.Tech is very much encouraged among students who want to further their studies in the technical line in INDIA.
    Hope this helps

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.

Candidates will get only one scribble pad at a time. They must write their name and registration number before using it. If the rough sheet gets filled, then they can ask for another one scribble pad after returning the previous one to the invigilator. After the exam concludes, candidates must return the scribble pad to the invigilator.
