Can I apply for government contractors license after completing B.Tech civil engineering through Distance?

As far as my knowledge goes, you need not to face any difficulty in getting government contractor license provided you know that B.Tech in civil through distance can be conducted by the university affiliated to AIU and DEC and a particular technical degree requires approval from AICTE.

But I have completed my course from a UGC approved university.
